Located on Poplar Street in Cambridge, the Sunnyside Shop offers clothing, jewelry, art, unique gifts and much more.  Featuring fair trade, American-made, and environmentally conscious products, Sunnyside Shop’s core values are a reflection of owner Heidi Griebel’s commitment to sustainable business community.

Sunnyside celebrated their 10th anniversary last month.  Working through past challenges associated with the economic downturn in 2008, Sunnyside was able to withstand and keep a prominent face in downtown Cambridge.

“Ten years in, we are enjoying the benefits of having been here this long: a strong, loyal base of long-time customers, combined with all the folks who are just discovering Cambridge’s eclectic mix of restaurants, the brewery, galleries and shops,” added Griebel.

Last year, the Dorchester County Economic Development Office assisted Sunnyside in securing funds from the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurial Center Revolving Loan Fund for marketing and expansion efforts.

Keasha Haythe, director of Dorchester County Economic Development, said, “We are glad to have Sunnyside Shop in Dorchester County.  Heidi is a gem and an asset to the community.”
