MD DNR has a new workforce program named Work2live Well. The program focuses on a fast-track entry into Environmental and Natural Resources careers. Work2live Well will be offered in two locations: Baltimore and Cambridge.
The Cambridge track will focus on Water Recourses. This program is designed to offer exposure, opportunity and training in several emerging fields- Aquaculture, Boating, and Commercial Fisheries.
30 participants will be selected to receive a unique training in multiple areas. The eight week course (5 days a week- eight hours a day) will be composed of classroom training, field training, and one-on-one mentoring followed by opportunities to interview for employment. A stipend will be paid to participants who meet expectations of commitment and responsibility.
