The Grand Opening for Mandala Pies is set for October 3rd! The business has operated out of their Vienna location since March, but postponed a grand opening to stay compliant with COVID restrictions.
Mandala Pies is located off of Old Ocean Gateway Vienna, MD. Conveniently located right off of Rt. 50 – about equal distance between Salisbury and Cambridge. Now offering extended hours through the week along with their usual Saturday schedule of 11-4.
The Grand Opening is open to anyone in the community that would like to attend. Live music is planned from 12-2, pumpkin painting, yard games, raffles each hour, a photo booth with polaroid pictures available, and of course lots of pie! Owner Caitlin LaComb added, “It should be a really fun and safe environment. We will be sanitizing often.”
LaComb added, ” Mandala Pies are beautiful pies for beautiful people made from scratch, with love, using organically grown & locally sourced ingredients. We do pie differently. Often, we are asked what the most popular option is. Without a doubt, our signature citrus pies take the crown.”
The meaning behind Mandala Pies’ name derives from a traditional mandala. A beautiful circular design created with good intention and conscious effort, symbolizing unity and wholeness. As a metaphor for their pies, both are meant to add more joy and happiness to the world.
