The store is open 7 days a week and offers a full menu for breakfast and lunch with dinner specials and homemade desserts. In addition to the kitchen the General Store also operates as a Village Post Office and is proud to be the essential “one-stop-shop” for the locals and the waterman. The primary industry for the area is fishing so the store offers gas, marine supplies, Fastenal hardware, fishing licenses, and bait.
Known as the “Hoopers Island Mall” by many, the general store offers something for everyone. They are currently hiring for all hours and shifts and will train any hard worker that is interested in being part of the team.
