Dorchester County Economic Development (DCED) recently attended the 2015 FABTECH Trade show at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. FABTECH is North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, and finishing event.

DCED shared a booth with the Maryland Department of Commerce, combining efforts to attract companies.  Four leads were developed and since then, Dorchester County has been placed on an expansion evaluation list for one of the companies.

The trade show attracted 40,000 attendees and 1500 exhibitors. The four-day event connected industry professionals to the latest technologies for buying, selling and networking. For further information on the tradeshow, please contact the DCED office at 410-228-0155.
