This year’s Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) spring conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina on April 26 – 28, 2015.  The 2015 MEDA Annual Conference will bring together thoughtful and accomplished leaders for a provocative discussion about how to change the narrative for economic development deliverables that impact our citizens.

“Economic Development has the power to change a neighborhood, a community or even the world,” said MEDA President Lawrence Twele, CEcD.  The conference will focus on the importance of a sound economic development strategy.  It will aim to provide an understanding of economic development as a discipline through several panels, an economic outlook with Sage Policy Group, Inc. Chairman and CEO Anirban Basu, a roundtable session with members of Governor Hogan’s cabinet, and much more. You do not want to miss teen prodigy, whiz kid, and innovator Jack Andrakawho will be this year’s keynote speaker for the awards banquet.

Attendees are encouraged to take this opportunity to find inspiration and new ideas that can elevate their work and their communities. To learn more about the conference or to register, please visit MEDA’s website at www.medamd.com.
