Economic development week | Dorchester County EDA

The Dorchester County Council signed a proclamation affirming the week of October 27 – October 31, 2014, as Economic Development Week. Economic growth and stability affects all regions and jurisdictions of Maryland, and Dorchester County is an important component of the state’s economic success.

The Dorchester County Economic Development Office will highlight those successes by hosting a business appreciation celebration on October 30, recognizing how business investments and partnerships strengthen Dorchester County’s competitiveness. The celebratory event will take place at Snapper’s Waterfront Café from 5-7 p.m.

Economic Development Week will take center stage in counties, cities and towns throughout Maryland when proclamations are made signifying the remarkable projects that have made Maryland a great place to live, work and play.
