On February 16, 2016, Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) members came together in Annapolis to celebrate the 2nd Annual Economic Development Day. Over 60 economic developers attended and were able to connect with legislators and share information about Economic Development projects throughout the state of Maryland. Deputy Secretary of the Maryland Department of Commerce, Ben Wu and Managing Director of Marketing & Communications at Maryland Department of Commerce, Alison Mayer presented a strategic plan prepared by the Maryland Economic Development Commission. MEDA Executive Director said, “It was a particularly special day as MEDA was presented with a House Resolution by the House Delegates. The Resolution was in recognition and celebration of MEDA’s 55th Anniversary.
